  1. Wonderful news Danny will be back to American Idol <3 I'm very happy for all who will be return to American Idol last season 🙂 Thank you American Idol !!!

  2. Yey! I will always be very thankful to American Idol because of giving hope and having Danny who is my inspiration and biggest idol. Excited to watch it! 🙂

  3. Hi Sherry! Me, too! I will just have to remind myself that the amount of time will likely be small–but I am going to be happy, no matter!!

  4. Very happy to hear that Danny will appear on Idol. But yes, people do need to recognize at the outset that his appearance time will likely be small — and likely in conjunction with other Idols. There is no way that American Idol can fit all those former Idols onto the show and do them justice. I expect that the biggest allotment of time will be given over to past winners and/or non-winners who have had major success of some sort, like Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry, Diana DeGarmo, Constantine Maroulis, Kellie Pickler, and Katharine McPhee. It won’t matter what is or isn’t “fair” — it is the final season and Idol has already shown it will do whatever the heck it wants, how and when it wants. (Because Idol shortened its season, more than one former Idol had to do work-arounds to accommodate a finale that was at least a month early.)

  5. I was glad to see that Danny felt it important enough to re-arrange his schedule. He will have a short night of sleep getting to NJ for the next day’s show. But, who would want to miss out on hanging out with all those former contestants that you have such a special shared experience?
