  6. Danny didn’t make the Billboard Award nominations this year. Hopefully “Tell Your Heart to Beat Again” will become the HUGE hit we think is possible. (HIFOM was a big hit for Danny, I don’t want to jinx him, but I think this one could be bigger.) Lauren’s song “Trust in You” is #1 at Mediabase and on the big Christian chart at Billboard.

  14. The only thing I know about radio play is what I see in your posts. I don’t listen to radio anymore. (Don’t have a TV either. I lost interest.)

    The name of Blake’s single is Savior’s Shadow.

  15. I don’t see it on the country or Christian charts. So, it may go up, but without radio play, it may not stay up there.

    The last monitored station to add Danny’s TYHTBA DID today: KSBJ– Houston. They are still playing HIFOM 20+ times a week. Not sure if they ever played MTYTIA. They’ve played it 11 times so far. Big station. Getting their spins will help the AI for D’s song.

  16. Thank you, Lurker. I went on Google and found Blake S. new song Savior’s Shadow. I like Blake Shelton’s voice. I haven’t heard many of his songs. I use to listen to country, but not much anymore. This is just my opinion.. I didn’t listen to all of the song because I wasn’t sure I liked it. It doesn’t pull you in like Danny Gokey’s Hope In Front of Me, or Tell Your Heart to Beat Again. It is probably Blake Shelton’s name, but I’m not sure his song will stay on the charts as long as Danny’s. Then again, I could be wrong. 😉

    I have no idea. There are some I like less than others, but Leyicet probably does like those. ❓

    I really have no idea. I like all of them.

  38. “Take it to the Limit” is one of my favorites. I don’t like “Pretty Beautiful” or “Better Than Gold” on the album. (Sometimes Danny continues improving a song, and I end up liking a concert version better than what I originally heard on an album.)

    Leyicet probably likes the ones I don’t and maybe doesn’t like the ones I do. Danny too, perhaps. I don’t think he particularly liked “The Coach” (since he didn’t sing it in concert), but I loved it.

  40. I like “Take it to the Limit.” I was trying to figure out what Leyicet wouldn’t like. Wasn’t “Pretty Beautiful” about Leyicet, or was it “Better Than Gold?” I really have no idea. 😕

  42. I don’t like Better Than Gold as much as some others as the lyrics are very repetitive. But if you can remember the title, you’re a long way to knowing the whole song 😉

  44. It seems like the song Leyicet doesn’t like would be either “Better Than Gold” or “Pretty Beautiful”, but it could be “Take it To the Limit”. Of those three, I like “Pretty Beautiful” the best, but who knows, maybe she doesn’t. I hope to catch the show interview to find out!

  49. “Pretty Beautiful” is the only song on Danny’s CD that I don’t really like. I’m gonna guess that maybe that’s the song that Leyicet doesn’t like, either. But who knows?

  58. Good morning! I’m back from my trip to England! I see that ADMIN2 has been filling in very nicely for me and that we have hit 1,000 followers on Facebook!!!

    I made it across the “big pond” without suffering too bad from jet lag. Stayed up all night/day the first day. And went to bed after 23 hours on the way home.     Great trip but so glad to be home, too! I don’t think I’ve ever been gone 10 days without seeing someone in my family! Family is the best gift of all!!

    I will be adding Danny’s concert for the 30th on our calendar. Not sure if I’ll do a post on it or just add it?

    TYHTBA is doing very nicely on the Allaccess CAC chart. The Way FM Network (that Danny did the interview for) is spinning it over 60 times a week! It’s only 140 spins behind Lauren’s #1 song.

    I thought it interesting in WAY FM piece that Danny said he is getting many radio requests for interviews, etc. There is a price for success. I also saw that he was in a Skype session with 88.7 The Bridge in Delaware for their upcoming fundraiser.

  65. I am not a patient person (except when I am). I am impatient now for the Spanish single (or album). The release of either would be fun.

    My view of the Spanish songs is that I don’t have to like all the lyrics. I can just like the sound.

  67. Hillary Scott of Lady A is releasing a faith-inspired album with her family. Do I see a familiar face in this? (not Danny but related)

    If I’m remembering correctly, Hillary was part of the same gospel series show debut that was hosted at the Ryman in Nashville where Danny appeared a year or more ago with Steven Curtis Chapman? I haven’t heard if that program is still running or not…
