Can’t wait to start listening to Danny’s Christmas CD. It’s right up there with Ray Conniff, Mitch Miller, Andy Williams, Burl Ives… and many others. 🙂 Okay, I think I really dated myself. 😉
I am not familar with Ray Conniff. The others I recognize, but they aren’t my fave Christmas albums… I have James Taylor, Josh Groban, David Archuletta….

Ray Conniff’s Christmas album will always be my favorite. I grew up with James Taylor. Enjoy his music. One of my favorite songs is from Josh Groban. Christmas will be here before we know it.

Is Imer related to Ivan? What was the other Santiago’s name? The one in O Holy Night? (not related to Ivan, I think)
Imer is Ivan’s brother. He is a music teacher and member of a jazz band. He has played with Danny before. My memory could be faulty, but I think Danny was in Imer’s wedding?
The 3rd Santiago was not related. He was a good friend of Danny’s from Faith Builders: Def Santiago.
My husband can be so funny. At the radio promo show back in 2010, Ed asked Brandon Fraley if he was the third Santiago? No? Was he going to be required to change his name to stay in Danny’s band???
I loved Danny’s band from those days… these guys are really great, too. It was just the FIRST band members I got to know by name, and they knew me, too ♡

But I wanted to document the promotion of the Spanish album. This video was shared by 21 affiliates of Entravision. Danny said in his performance today at #CMBMomentum16 that he also had a CNN interview in Spanish? Sounds like a stressful day!
Good job on the translation, Jan. By that I mean you might have every word perfect as far as I know.
I would make no attempt at all. I would have no idea where to start.
Thanks, Lurker. It was a true challenge. I have no idea how good a job I did….. I doubt I’ll try to do this too often. I would love it if we had someone that wanted to help with Spanish translations 🙂

Danny had on Instagram him singing with little Danny. It was very cute. His little boy is growing up. Victoria was even trying to sing. Makes me a little nervous when they are driving..
I know we usually don’t post the new discussion until Monday morning, but I’ve found the post to be quite popular on Facebook on Sunday night…. so I publish it a little early with the work of a great photographer. 🙂

I expect it to be a lot of radio adds for Danny on Monday afternoon. He has 19 monitored stations playing RISE and someone at the radio conference tweeted that RISE was the most added song this week 🙂
Good news for RISE. I just checked the Mediabase Chart and it updated and put Danny’s song at #30!
