Latin Music Awards – Danny Gokey to Join Presenters

latin-music-awardsTelemundo announced the renowned performers that will pay tribute to Juan Gabriel during the 2016 LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS. World music singer Lila Downs, Spanish songstress Shaila Durcal and the “Ambassador of Mexican Music” Aida Cuevas will be joined on stage by Mariachi De Mi Tierra Juan Gabriel, which toured with the late artist for over two decades, on a musical number produced by his longtime producer and orchestra director Eduardo Magallanes.

Hosted for the second consecutive year by Lucero, the awards ceremony will feature a remarkable array of talent to present the awards including:

beloved host of the upcoming “Don Francisco Te Invita” show Mario Kreutzberger better known as Don Francisco; international actress Kate Del Castillo; actor of the biopic series “Hasta que te Conocí” Carlos Yorvick; actors from “Señora Acero 3: La Coyote” Carolina Miranda, Gaby Espino, Jose Maria Torre, Luis Ernesto Franco, Mauricio Henao, Michel Duval and Oka Giner; lead actor of the upcoming Super Series “El Chema” Mauricio Ochmann; actors from the ratings record breaking Super Series “El Señor de los Cielos” Carmen Aub and Rafael Amaya; from “La Querida del Centauro” Michel Brown; from”Silvana Sin Lana” actor Carlos Ponce; from “Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso” Fabian Rios; cohost of “Titulares y Mas” Karim Mendiburu; newscaster Felicidad Aveleyra, from “Noticias Telemundo;” from NBC UNIVERSO’s “The Riveras” Chiquis Rivera; actors Aislinn Derbez and Jeimy Osorio; TV personality Rosie Rivera; and host of the 2016 hit reality competition “La Voz Kids” Patricia Manterola.

Music presenters include Adriel Favela; Alex Sensation, Calibre 50, Charlie Zaa, Danny Gokey, Emeraude Toubia, Fanny Lu, Karol G, Natti Natasha, Osmani Garcia, PALOMA San Basilio, Sebastian Yatra, Sharlene Taule, and Zion & Lennox.

The awards show will broadcast live on Thursday, October 6 at 8pm/7c from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA. The “Latin AMAs” will also be simulcast on NBC UNIVERSO in the U.S. and on Telemundo Internacional on 21 Latin American countries.

    I would imagine that Leyicet and Danny will walk the Red Carpet at this event, too. And I think the clothing requirements will be up a notch from the Dove Awards/K-LOVE awards (Just guessing…)

  16. Jan, there don’t seem to be couples/groups in the other photos in your latest gallery though I didn’t get thru all of it. Maybe the solo pic is the norm for this carpet walk?

  17. I did notice that they were usually solo pics. Maybe they ask the non-celebrity spouse/attendant to step aside? Hopefully Leyicet will post a pic 🙂

  18. would have loved to see both Danny and Leyicet together on the red carpet, I to hope they post pic’s of them together. impressed with his Spanish! I hope they televise the Dove Awards, I am reading his book! powerful message, because of his story, I am moving forward. He is shining the light of Jesus healing power! forever grateful for Him!
