Fan Feature: On the Tour Bus with Danny Gokey

Danny Gokey in Glen Falls New YorkWe are thrilled to report on a special experience for some longtime fans of Danny Gokey.  Recently Danny teamed up with Pledgemusic.com to promote his new album, “Rise”.  One of the ways to support the new music was to select the special Backstage Meet & Greet.  For six fans that selected that item, backstage became “on the tour bus” with Danny
for some special hang time, gifts and an acoustic performance of one of his songs — selected by the youngest fan!  (Note:  this was a special level M&G that is nolonger available.)

Danny Gokey with Carrie, Anne Marie & MariaWe thank Maria, Anne Marie and Carrie for their longtime support of Danny and for sharing this experience with us! Here is a portion of their serenade!

They reported that Danny has about 45 minutes on the Casting Crowns Tour.  He sings:

Stronger Than You Think, If You Ain’t In It, Rise, Chasing, Better Than I Found It, The Comeback,  More Than You Think I Am, Hope In Front of Me, and Tell Your Heart to Beat Again.

Danny returns to sing “Glorious Day” with Casting Crowns and Chad Mattson of Unspoken.

I love this photo of Anne Marie and Danny, so I’m including her solo picture with Danny, too!

  1. Hi Maria, Anne Marie, and Carrie! (If any of you happen to check out Jan’s post.) Miss you guys from the days of the Danny Gokey cruises. So glad that you all got to meet up with Danny again. It must make Danny feel good to know that some of his biggest fans from the early days are still with him. Hope you all enjoyed the show! An especially heartfelt “thank you” to Maria, who took and shared video of Danny singing an acoustic version of “Symptoms.” I kind of like it sung acoustically, even though we don’t get the all the same musical and vocal pyrotechnics.
