  2. Oh my goodness. The Honda Center is very close to where my son lives. Right across from Anaheim Stadium where I saw Danny perform last year. My husband and I weren’t able to go to San Diego, or to Ontario which is just down the mountain from us. Hopefully, we can make this concert. 🙂 Thank you for posting.

    The mix of Billy Graham and Danny Gokey was beautiful. A tribute for a very special man.

  6. Is the MBD video recent?
    Danny has not been singing much from his first album since leaving Sony. I didn’t know if he just hated everything from his first album or if he was not allowed to sing freely from it.
    But he has a third label now and is still singing from the second label. Maybe another single from the second label? The first single from label three is not due soon.
    Perhaps first label songs will no longer be banned? (Not all of those songs are too country for CCM; so that is not a reason for none of them.)

    I was at the concert Deep Tour TobyMac in Denver Coliseum. It was awesome!!! I was very happy to see Danny Gokey at the concert again. It was very nice to see the People love Danny and his music. I’m very proud of Danny Gokey! I saw Danny at the concert 4 times and every time Danny did a wonderful job!!! I love Danny and his band, they are amazing! I was glad to see Mandisa and TobyMac. Thank you to all singers for a beautiful concert!!!
    I was sad, I did not have my camera. I tried to take pictures of my phone, but I have a new phone and I need more practice ha-ha. I recorded shorts videos from all songs, but the video not perfect too. I hope next time!!!

  9. Don’t worry, Zuzana. I know all about having new equipment and not enough experience practicing with it to know how it works! At the Roseburg concert this past summer, I took two new cameras I’d gotten in anticipation for for a trip in late summer. One was a not-very-powerful waterproof point-and-shoot, the other was a good quality camera. But when it came time, I couldn’t find the video button on the good camera! So my first few vids were with the point-and-shoot, which meant poor audio and visuals. Luckily, I figured it out later.

    I am so glad you had a good time, Zuzana! But not surprised. Danny is a compelling performer.

  11. Ellen, its ok to have multiple pseudonyms….

    Two songs went recurrent and Masterpiece is now #28 on the Mediabase CAC chart.

    Also, I’m working on a couple of posts and perhaps a new way of posting the news and discussion…. I’m thinking it might be handy to capture the news by the month and year instead of having bi-weekly discussion posts. On busy times (around new music) I could have a couple of news posts in the same month. Let’s see if I implement it.

  12. Masterpiece doesn’t seem to be a fast-mover but for this type of song, perhaps slow and steady works ok. It seems to be creeping toward top 20 on Billboard which would be a good milestone.

    And before we know it, it will be time to think about a new Christmas song!
