About the time of the release of his first album, “My Best Days”, Danny joined some established Nashville talent at The 11th Annual Best Cellars Dinner at the Hutton Hotel. The Best Cellars Dinner is one of the Foundation’s signature events that is known for pairing Best Sellers (country music’s top selling artists and other celebrities) with Best Cellars (Nashville’s top wine collectors).

Flash forward to 2018, and Danny joined Natalie Grant on a duet. Could it have been “The Prayer”.
Among those being honored by the TJ Martell Foundation was Dr. James Netterville. He has a special place in Natalie’s heart.
#Repost @nataliegrant with @get_repost ・・・ Tonight was so incredibly special. This is Dr. James Netterville, director of head and neck surgery at Vanderbilt, and an international leading authority in treating head and neck cancers. AND, by the grace of God, he was the surgeon who removed my thyroid cancer and preserved my voice. I got to sing for him tonight as he was honored by the @tjmartellfoundation with the Medical Research Advancement Award at the Nashville Honors Gala. Yes, he’s a world class surgeon – his skill & expertise are unparalleled. But he is also just a world class human – filled with genuine kindness and sincere compassion. Dr. Netterville says, “I am simply HIS servant, doing HIS work.” Oh that we would all have that same attitude and mindset in whatever we do. Thank you, Dr. Netterville. You are making such a difference, in more ways than one. #honorsgalanashville
