Danny Gokey and his keyboardist, Monty (Samuel Montanez) traveled to Chicago to perform for Air1 and Chicago’s Channel WGN 9 Rahny Taylor (with Air1) shared on instagram stories Danny performing, hopefully it will be featured on the Air1 website, etc.
I’m glad to see Danny going the extra mile to push “Haven’t Seen It Yet”. Its currently at #3 on the Billboard National Airplay chart and 4th on Mediabase CAC. Its still seeing good growth and sales.

Danny Gokey will be spending Saturday evening and Sunday morning services at the Milestone Church in Keller Texas as their guest worship leader as the celebrate Mothers. I think Danny seems to be a popular choice on Mother’s Day celebrations. I can’t remember Danny being home to spend it with his mom or the mother of his children, Leyicet. I guess that is just the price the wife or mother of an entertainer pays.
This is an opportunity for the rest of us moms, though, since Milestone live streams their church services and uploads a service each week to their website. You can check it out on their website HERE.
\0/ RT @milestonechurch: This weekend is Mother’s Day! Bring the whole family and join us for guest worship leader, Danny Gokey, family photos ops, and a special time of honoring all the moms. We’d love to celebrate with you!

First in Pigeon Falls and then next week in Myrtle Beach, Danny Gokey performs at the Women of Joy Conference. The Tennessee crowd was said to be of 10,000 women.
The conference weekends are designed, created and intended to bring women of all ages and cultures together to help you pursue a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. Women of Joy is a ministry that has been changing the lives of women since 1994. Based in Decatur, AL and led by Phil and Debbie Waldrep, these weekends serve and minister to crowds ranging from 1,000 to 14,000 women at each event.
Sounds like a pretty awesome event for women, to me. Other performers that have been scheduled for these weekends are Mercy Me, Plumb, Natalie Grant and Michael W Smith.
It’s great to see the success that Danny Gokey’s new album, “Haven’t Seen It Yet” is achieving – fans have responded by making it the #1 in Christian Album Sales in its debut week! And a label that supports his work makes it even sweeter for Danny!
Brad O’Donnell , co-president of Capitol Christian Music Group stated, “It’s an honor to have Danny as part of the Capitol family, and its especially exciting to see such a strong response to his new music. From the songs, to the message to the production, he’s delivered his best record yet, and we can’t wait to see where it goes from here.”
