Danny shared by Instagram story that he is recording songs for the new album! That has us clamoring to know what will be the new single? Could it be one of the new songs debuted on Danny’s recent tour?
A rumor that we have caught suggests it will be “Haven’t Seen It Yet”! Our guess is that the song will be available in the new year and sent to radio as a single in February. At least that is what we hope – based on the bits of information found. Continue reading “New Songs for 2019 Album?”→
A beautiful new version of “The Prayer” is available for Danny Gokey and Natalie Grant fans! This is a song that they have sung as a duet on the last two “Celebrate Christmas” tours. I’m guessing they will sing it again 😉
Danny Gokey is included in the just released album, “A Motown Gospel Christmas”. His song starts as a very soft, acoustic guitar accompanied version and builds to full “Gokey-ness” with a full backing gospel choir and orchestra! For your $1.29 you get a 4:45 minute Christmas song. This is Danny’s first Capitol Records Christian Group project. (Second project if you count Tuyo with the Social Club Misfits.) On his Hope Encounter Tour with Tauren Wells and Riley Clemmons, Danny has debuted two new songs. We are pleased to share videos of “Just Haven’t Seen It Yet”. This is one of Danny’s big vocal songs of encouragement. Here are some of the lyrics in Danny’s new song:
Have you been praying, any you still have no answers? Have you been pouring out your heart these many years? Have you been hoping that things have changed by now? Don’t forget the things He has done before. Remember He can do it once more. It’s like the brightest sunrise waiting on the other side of the darkest night. Don’t ever lose hope, hold on and believe. Maybe you just haven’t seen it yet.
You are closer than you think you are, only moments from the break of dawn. All His promises are just up ahead. You just haven’t seen it yet. He had the solution before you had the problem. He sees the best in you when you feel like your worst. So when questioning don’t ever question his love for you. Cause its something in his blood that you find to break through.Continue reading “Video: Just Haven’t Seen It Yet”→
Danny Gokey recently shared a clip of his singing the song “Don’t Stop Believing” and it reminded us of his “American Idol” days! Back in 2009, as a part of the Top 9 on Season 8, Danny and the rest of the contestants did a group performance of the famous song by Journey. Danny is featured at the 2 minute mark in this video.
