Video: Danny Gokey Sings “Praise You In This Storm”

While Danny Gokey was discovered on “American Idol” where he only performed other people’s hit songs, we don’t get too many cover songs from Danny these days. He’s too busy singing his own songs. But I am thrilled that we have a beautiful cover of Casting Crowns hit song, “Praise You in This Storm”. Danny performed it as part of the songwriters festival, Tin Pan South.

We are indebted to for sharing his concert video with us.  This is what he has to say about the event:

Danny Gokey performed Casting Crowns “Praise You In this Storm” alongside Bernie Herms who co-wrote the song and played the accompaniment. Mark Hall was gonna attend to sing the song but couldn’t make it since he was feeling under the weather. This was taken at 3rd & Lindsey as part of the Tin Pan South songwriters festival in Nashville, TN. Special appearances in this performance of Brandon Heath, Mike Donehey from Tenth Avenue North & Ryan Stevenson
