K-LOVE 2017 Male Artist of the Year — Danny Gokey

This year’s K-Love Fan Awards is not being streamed or broadcast live so we can’t directly confirm yet the awards winners being announced tonight at the event venue.

NOTE: One of Danny’s managers just shared the K-LOVE’s show card announcing Danny won “Male Artist of the Year” on social media. We consider that verification! 5/29/17 a.m.

To make it entirely official, we’ve found that the winners list went up sometime today at http://www.klove.com/events/fan-awards/winners/ 🙂 5/29/17 p.m.

However — we’re hearing reports on twitter that Danny Gokey was announced this evening as the K-Love Fan Award’s 2017 Male Artist of the Year, for the second straight year! Danny also seems to have had the privilege of opening the show with his current single “The Comeback,” which must have been spectacular from his preview with a talented local cheerleading team! We fell in love with “Give Me Jesus” when Danny Gokey added the song to his Christmas album, “Christmas is Here“. Danny has taken it to an even higher level by the simple staging and his beautiful closing.

I met Laura in the autograph line at a DG show I saw last year, we started talking and took pics for each other and instantly hit it off, so we FB friend-ed each other and met up again at the KLOVE Christmas tour and helped break down Danny’s merch table! So needless-to-say we are DIE HARD DG fans and when he wasn’t coming to Illinois anytime this year – we joked about going to see him.
