Danny Gokey’s third single from his latest album, “Haven’t Seen It Yet” is just starting to get radio play. Will it pass “Wanted” that peaked at #22 on the Billboard National Christian Airplay chart on 1/31/2020? Currently a few stations are spinning it. Hopefully April will see program directors embrace this song with such a positive message during this troubled time.
We’ve had confirmation that Danny Gokey’s next single to radio is “Love God, Love People”. A perfect song and sentiment for a time when we are challenged with a worldwide pandemic of COVID-19.
The original lyric video for “Love God, Love People”, that was released with the album, “Haven’t Seen It Yet” has over 865,000 views BEFORE hitting the radio waves. (But then the video for “New Day” has over 2.5 million views!)
We hope this one catches on with radio and the listeners. This comment by HIS Radio bodes well:
And we have the first reporting station on Mediabase CAC with this Ft Wayne station:

It was a very special night at Carnegie Hall with Danny Gokey joining Gospel Music Association‘s celebration of 50 years of Dove Awards at Carnegie Hall. Six award winning artists were invited to showcase the multi-cultural and multi-generational music on one stage. With a combined total of over 40 individual Dove Awards, they showcased a diversity of music. Appearing that night were host and performer: Mark Lowry, and artists Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, Russ Taff, Natalie Grant and Danny Gokey.
Danny performed his songs “Haven’t Seen It Yet” and “Tell Your Heart to Beat Again” but also “Give Me Jesus” and joined Natalie Grant to sing their duet of “The Prayer”. He also joined in with the other artist on three songs. Continue reading “A Night at Carnegie Hall”→
It had a true throwback vibe with the large horn section from the Tim Akers & the Smoking Section and these 80’s songs like “The Power of Love” (Huey Lewis), Ain’t No Mountain High Enough (Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell)I Knew You Were Waiting (George Michael & Aretha Franklin), September (Earth Wind & Fire) and Superstition (Stevie Wonder)!
While the video is a little skewed the sound it good, so enjoy!! Thanks Tim!!!
Danny Gokey’s second single from his latest album, “Haven’t Seen It Yet” moves up to #22 on the Billboard National Christian Airplay chart/ Its also nearly top 30 on the Mediabase CAC chart. Good to see it climbing after the holiday break.
Getty Images shared their photos of last night’s 62nd Grammy Awards Red Carpet. Of course we had to look for Danny’s. Hoover over the arrow to scroll to the series of photos.
We congratulate For King and Country on their winning of the two categories that Danny was nominated. They are a fantastic Christian group with some wonderful promotion of their music this year. As Danny said last night:
I didn’t win a Grammy tonight but Im still so thankful to Christian radio and all those who have supported my music. Quite honestly- maybe “I just haven’t seen it yet” – I believe my best songs are still yet to come. Congrats to @4kingandcountry for their 2 wins.
